Drug Free Zone

The Edmonton Journal is doing an article profiling the town of Hay River, NWT one year after RCMP Const. Chris Worden was murdered. His suspected killer was a known drug trafficker. Worden’s widow Jodie proposed an idea to the town to create signs promoting it as a “Drug Free Zone”. Sheila Ryan-Hachey, above, is a local woman who has taken the cause to heart and is selling these signs out of the back of her car.
